Virat Kohli was looking in good touch against South Africa in the first innings, but a poor shot outside the off-stump extended his wait for the 71st international century.

Batting on 35 at SuperSport Park, Centurion, the Test skipper poked at a delivery pitched way outside the off-stump, and he was caught in the slip cordon.

While Virat once again failed to convert his start into a big score, KL Rahul completed a well compiled hundred, the seventh Test ton of his career.

Former India pacer Ashish Nehra has opined on a pattern of Virat Kohli’s dismissals.

“You expect runs from Kohli. He would ne unhappy with his performance. Looking at how he has been dismissed, it is a bit of concern. Lungi Ngidi made Kohli play a loose shot, which has been a problem lately. So he is giving his wickets to bowlers,” said Nehra on Cricbuzz.
