New Zealand’s Ajaz Patel, who took 10 wickets in an innings against India, wants to play in the Indian Premier League.
The 33-year old spinner said it would be a privilege to take part in the cash-rich league.
Speaking to NDTV, Ajaz said: “Yeah, hopefully if the opportunity presents itself, I would love to play in the IPL [Indian Premier League] in India.”
“It’s an amazing tournament. Everyone follows it really closely and it brings a lot of cheers and thrills around the world. So, it’s a great tournament and I will be privileged it the opportunity came,” he added.
Ajaz has taken 73 wickets in 62 T20 games at an economy rate of 7.54. He has represent New Zealand in 4 T20I games, scalping 7 wickets at an economy rate of 4.53. He is being keenly followed by a lot of franchise after his sensational performance.
