Warner was phenomenal in the semi-final against Pakistan. He gave a blistering start to the game and amassed 49 runs. In the finale against New Zealand, he played another impressive innings. His score of 53 was one of the reasons behind Australia’s one-sided victory.

He took to social media to dedicate his award to family members. “Wife, Ivy, Indi, Isla this is for you,” he wrote.

David Warner scored 289 runs from 7 matches. He accumulated his runs at an average of 48.16 and a strike rate of 146.70 in the tournament.
