India suffered a setback as star pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the third T20I against South Africa at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala. Captain Suryakumar Yadav revealed that Bumrah has returned home due to personal reasons and is not available for the contest. Apart from the right-arm fast bowler, the Men in Blue will also miss Axar Patel, who is unwell.
“We two forced changes. Jasprit Bumrah has gone back to his home due to personal reasons, and Harshit Rana is playing. Axar Patel is unwell, and Kuldeep Yadav replaces him,” Suryakumar Yadav told Ravi Shastri.
Meanwhile, the SKY won the toss and elected to field to take advantage of the conditions. The game will be impacted by dew, and India want to chase the total.
South Africa skipper Aiden Markram is hoping to post a big total on the board and challenge the rivals.
