India have made two changes for their third match in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 against Pakistan on February 15. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and invited India to bat first on a slow pitch. SKY would have batted first had he won the toss, and the veteran was pleased with the outcome of the toss. With Abhishek Sharma fit and available for the contest, there was no place for Sanju Samson, who played in the previous game against Namibia.
In a tactical move, the Men in Blue added Kuldeep Yadav to the Playing XI in place of speedster Arshdeep Singh.
“We would have batted first as our last two wins came while defending the total and we don’t want to change anything. Despite calling it a normal game, the stakes are high and we want to bring our A game forward. We have made two changes. Abhishek Sharma is back in place of Sanju Samson and Kuldeep Yadav has replaced Arshdeep Singh,” he said.
Pakistan went in with the same team they played against the USA. “We are playing with the same team. We are bowling first as the wicket looks a bit tacky. We have been playing on such wickets,” he said.
