Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha has won the toss and elected to bowl first against Sri Lanka in the first T20I of the three-match series.
Pakistan are playing a two-wrist spinner combo alongside Abrar.
Toss Decision – Captain’s Comments & Reasoning
“It is a good wicket, but it has been under the cover due to some rain. We have eight batting options and six bowling options. We have a balance side, and the players are excited for the T20 World Cup,” Salman Ali Agha said.
Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka is not concerned about the outcome of the toss.
“It is a good wicket. It was under the cover for a couple of days, but the wicket over here has plenty of runs. The team is feeling good, and everyone wants to express themselves,” Dasun Shanaka said.
