Chennai Super Kings fast bowler Deepak Chahar proposed to his girlfriend Jaya Bharadwaj after the match against Punjab Kings. He went down on his knees to propose to his love and she said yes.
Jaya is a sister of Sidharth Bhardwaj, who participated in the reality shows Bigg Boss 5 and Splitsvilla 2. She is from Delhi and is currently working with a corporate firm.
As per reports, the Indian pacer has already introduced Jaya to his teammates and will soon tie the knot.
His sister Malti Chahar shared an adorable Instagram post for the couple.
“And my brother is taken. Lo mil gayi bhabhi. She is Jaya Bharadwaj and she isn’t a foreigner…Delhi Ki ladki h,” Malti captioned the post.
He is currently a part of the Chennai Super Kings and will represent them in the playoffs. Deepak will stay back in the UAE after the IPL 2021 as he has been named as a reserve for India for the T20 World Cup
