Former India cricketer and one of the leading cricket experts, Harbhajan Singh, has heaped rich praise on Pakistan skipper Babar Azam.

Harbhajan Singh is one of the finest spinners to play for Team India. In his career of almost two decades, he has been a part of memorable triumphs, including the ICC T20 World Cup 2007 and the 2011 ODI World Cup.

MS Dhoni is often credited for India’s win in the 2011 World Cup. He scored an unbeaten 91 runs in the finale. Gautam Gambhir also played an important role in the run-chase with a brilliant knock of 97 runs. However, there is a notion among a section of fans that Dhoni was the main reason behind one of the biggest wins.

Lately, Harbhajan has stated that World Cup triumph was only possible due to teamwork and not performances by individuals.

”When Australia win the World Cup, the credit is given to the whole team. When India won the World Cup at that time, everyone said, MS Dhoni won the World Cup. Toh baaki ke 10 waha lassi peene gaye the?,” said Harbhajan Singh while speaking on Star Sports. “What did the other 10 players do? What did Gautam Gambhir do? What about other players? When 7-8 players play well, only then your team will progress,” he added.
