Overview:

India will face Pakistan in their third game of the World Cup, with the winner making it to the Super 8 stage.

Suryakumar Yadav took the lead in India’s practice session ahead of the match against Pakistan on February 15. Pakistan’s mystery spinner Usman Tariq’s unusual bowling action has been the talking point, and SKY copied the spinner’s style, giving the batters a much-needed lesson before facing the rival bowler.

Abhishek Sharma batted against Suryakumar, who imitated Tariq’s action. The young southpaw has been magnificent for the Indian National Cricket Team, while Tariq is leading the charge for the Men in Green.

Abhishek missed the match against Namibia in Delhi due to a stomach infection, as he was admitted to the hospital. However, he looked in good touch in the net session at the R Premadasa stadium.

Abhishek went hard against Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy, a clear indication that he can take on Pakistan spinners.

Suryakumar is not worried about the out-of-syllabus Tariq. “If you get an out-of-syllabus question in the exams, you don’t leave it, you try to answer that,” he said.

In 4 T20Is, he has taken 11 wickets while conceding runs at an economy rate of below six. “We have practised against bowlers who have unusual bowling action,” he added.
