Kolkata Knight Riders spinner Sunil Narine on Monday was the star of the show with a match-winning performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) Eliminator. He ran through the strong batting lineup of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), registering figures of 4 for 21 in his 4-over spell.
RCB got a good start and were 49 when Lockie Ferguson dismissed Devdutt Padikkal. KS Bharat joined Virat Kohli in the middle but he was undone by Sunil Narine in the 10th over of the innings. In the next over of his spell, the Caribbean bowler got rid of the RCB skipper, Virat Kohli, who scored 39.
Narine’s next victim was AB de Villiers who hasn’t shown his real aggressive batting in the UAE. On the second ball of the 15th over, he was castled by Narine.
With three big wickets already in his kitty, Narine bowled a fuller delivery to Glenn Maxwell, who went for a slog and was caught at short third man.
