Sri Lanka’s Dhananjaya de Silva’s also similarly lost his wicket on Monday during the first session of the opening Test match against West Indies.
During the 95th of the innings, Dhananjaya de Silva played back of a length delivery by Shannon Gabriel with soft hands. However, the ball headed towards the stumps, and the batter tried to change the ball’s direction with his bat. He couldn’t do it in the first attempt and tried to repeat the step once again with the other side of his willow only to disturb the leg-stump. He was livid as he batted beautifully and looked set for a big score before he comically ended his innings.
