Sarfaraz Khan is enjoying the best form of his life at the moment. He hit his fourth hundred of the season in the final of the Ranji Trophy against Madhya Pradesh.
The 24-year-old was on 40 on day one and reached the three-figure mark with a four off Kumar Kartikeya’s delivery before lunch on Day 2.
A visibly emotional Sarfaraz imitated Sidhu Moose Wala’s signature step by smacking his thigh and pointing his finger towards the sky.
Moose Wala, who passed away in a shootout in Punjab’s Mansa last month, was famous for his signature step.
In eight innings so far in the competition, Sarfaraz has already scored over 900 runs with the help of four centuries and two half-centuries.
Mumbai’s first innings ended on 374 after Sarfaraz was dismissed on a score of 134 off 243 deliveries.
Earlier, Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed 78 as Mumbai amassed 248/5 on the opening day.
