The controversial moment happened in the 39th over of the first innings. Mohamad Rizwan played a shot on the fourth delivery of the over, with Salman leaving his crease. However, he collided with Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who was trying to grab the ball.
Believing the ball was dead, Salman picked it up and hand it back to the bowler. Miraz grabbed the ball and removed the bails, with Salman Ali Agha out of the crease. The on-field umpires referred the decision to the third official, who declared the batter out.

Salman was upset and exchanged words with the bowler before leaving the field in anger. He threw his helmet and gloves onto the ground. Bangladesh players were also seen talking to Miraz, who was furious as well.
Maaz Sadaqat amassed 75 runs while Salman Agha managed 64. Rizwan (44) and Sahibzada Farhan (31) were also among the runs. Rishad Hossain took three wickets while captain Miraz dismissed two batters.
Bangladesh are leading the three-match series 1-0, having defeated the visiting team by eight wickets in the series opener.
