Pacer S Sreesanth, who was a part of two World Cup-winning campaigns, announced retirement from cricket on Wednesday.

Indian pacer S Sreesanth is a part of Kerala’s Ranji Trophy squad. The 39-year old is set to play in the domestic tournament after a gap of nine years. The two-time World Cup winner took to his social media handles to give fans a glimpse of his bowling ahead of Ranji Trophy 2022. He shared a video on Instagram in which he is seen knocking off a batter’s stumps with a peach of a delivery.

The bowler mentioned that the late outswinger remains one of his favourite deliveries.

Sachin Baby will lead the side while wicketkeeper-batter Vishnu Vinod has been appointed as his deputy.

Sanju Samson has not been included in the squad as he is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

Sreesanth is among the 590 cricketers who will go under the hammer in IPL 2022 mega auction.
