Team India have kick-started their preparations for the upcoming ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final against New Zealand, starting June 18. The team took part in an intra-squad game to step up their preparations for the marquee clash.
The official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for India shared a clip of the intra-squad game. While Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli were seen playing together, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami bowled in conjunction.
Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane were also spotted playing their trademark shots. Rishabh Pant was also seen taking the Indian spinners to the cleaners. The wicketkeeper-batsman scored a brilliant half-century in the practice match. He even hit R Ashwin out of the work.
Arzan Nagwaswalla, who has travelled with the team as a net bowler, was also spotted swinging his arms. Team India will have to rely on intra-squad matches to prepare for the WTC Final.

New Zealand, on the other hand, will come into the ICC event after playing a two-match Test series against England. The Blackcaps have dominated the Three Lions in their backyard, so far.
