Indian players were seen spending time with the baby daughter of the Pakistan team's captain Bismah Maroof after their World Cup match.

India and Pakistan cricketers share a friendly bond despite the tension between the two countries. After Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni’s heartfelt conversation with the Men in Green during the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, the Women in Blue have taken it to another cute level.

India and Pakistan played against each other in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2022, where the Mithali Raj-led team thumped the arch-rivals by a margin of 107 runs.

Batting first, India scored 244/7 from the allotted 50 overs, with Pooja Vastrakar (67), Smriti Mandhana (52), Sneh Rana (53 not out), and Deepti Sharma (40) making valuable contributions.

Chasing 245, the Women in Green were never in the hunt as they lost regular wickets and were all-out for 137. While Rajeshwari Gayakwad took 4 wickets, Jhulan Goswami and Sneh Rana added 2 wickets each.

Sneh was named the Player of the match for her all-round display.

Meanwhile, Indian players were seen spending time with the baby daughter of the Pakistan team’s captain Bismah Maroof after their World Cup match. Fatima is 6-month old.

Bismah was given special permission under ICC’s parental policy to keep her child during the global event considering the COVID-19.
