During a lighthearted questions and answers session, Royal Challengers Bengaluru teammates Virat Kohli and Dinesh Karthik were involved in a hilarious conversation.
In a viral video, Dinesh Karthik asked his four teammates – Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Mohammed Siraj and Rajat Patidar – about his favorite sportsperson other than cricketer. “Your wife,” Virat Kohli responded. DK was left speechless. He cheekily admitted he had a different answer in mind .

For those unfamiliar, Dinesh Karthik’s wife Dipika Pallikal is a renowned Indian squash player. Karthik and Pallikal married in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Chennai in August 2015. Pallikal is a decorated squash champion, having won two World Doubles Titles, Gold in women’s doubles at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and mixed doubles gold at the 2022 Asian Games.
Dipika Pallikal, who gave birth to their twin boys in October 2021, continues to represent India at the international level.
Dinesh Karthik is in terrific form in the Indian Premier League 2024. Playing as a lower order batter for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Karthik has batted in 6 innings, scoring 226 runs at a superb average of 75.33 and a blistering strike rate of 205.45. He has hit two half-centuries.
