Wasim Jaffer and Michael Vaughan have a habit of taking on each other on social media. Both have been at loggerhead over several issues. On Sunday, Jaffer surprised his fans by wishing the former England skipper a Happy Friendship Day. “Happy friendship day @MichaelVaughan #FriendshipDay,” he wrote.
Fans were surprised by Jaffer’s post for Vaughan and they soon started a meme fest on social media.
Vaughan had triggered a controversy when he had claimed that if Kane Williamson had been an India, he would have been regarded as the greatest player in the current era. Jaffer was quick to troll the former English player for his comments on Virat and Kane.
These two would again collide during the upcoming five-match Test series between England and India. Virat Kohli-led team was beaten by their rivals when they visited the European country in 2018.
