Narine, one of the best spinners in the game's shortest format, recently spoke about Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

The stage is all set for the biggest match of the Asia Cup 2022, as India takes on arch-rivals Pakistan tomorrow in Dubai.

Ahead of the match, former India opener Wasim Jaffer, who is highly active on social media, dropped a post announcing his preferred XI for tomorrow’s match.

The 44-year-old went ahead with the regular opening duo of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.

He further named Virat Kohli at one down slot and Suryakumar Yadav at his usual no.4 position.

For the no.5 slot, Jaffer picked in form all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Meanwhile, he could not make a pick between Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant. Nevertheless, he mentioned that if Pant plays instead of Karthik, he should come ahead of Pandya and bat at the no.5 position.

For the bowling department, Jaffer went for four prime bowlers instead of five. He wants Ravindra Jadeja to play at the no.7 position.

He picked Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh as the two seaming options, leaving Avesh Khan out of the team.

He left Ravichandran Ashwin out of his plans and went ahead with Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravi Bishnoi as the two spinners.

Here is Jaffer’s playing XI
