India were under the pump from the start in the second ODI against Australia. The hosts lost 6 wickets with not even 100 on the board. Former players Sunil Gavaskar and Mitchell Johnson compared the pitch in Visakhapatnam to the WACA track in Australia.

The pitch at the WACA is considered good for the pacers and the same thing happened in the second match between the Men in Blue and the Steve Smith-led team.

Mitchell Starc took 4 wickets from his first 6 overs. “It looks like a pitch used in Australia. The track has cracks but it is helping the pacers,” said Sunil Gavaskar.

“It looks like a WACA pitch. The cracks could help the bowlers in the later stage of the match. The track has bounce and is good for the fast bowlers,” said Mitchell Johnson.
