Virender Sehwag has taken a dig at captaincy style of the former India captain Virat Kohli. Comparing the captaincy styles of Sourav Ganguly and Kohli, Sehwag said while Sourav supported a lot of youngsters to built a strong Indian team, he wasn’t sure whether Kohli did the same.

“Sourav built a new team and backed new players throughout their careers. I doubt if Kohli did that in his tenure as a captain,” he said.

According to him, there was a trend to change team after every Test match during Virat Kohli’s time as Team India’s head.

“The number one captain backs his players and gives them confidence. Virat backed some players, some he didn’t,” he added.
