Virat Kohli is scoring runs for fun after returning from a break. After two ordinary scores in the first two T20Is against Australia, he returned to his best, scoring 63 off 48 balls, which took the Men in Blue to a series win by a margin of 2-1.
He spoke after his match-winning knock and how he has changed in the last few months.
“I came to the ground half an hour early before other players on the match day. I am working hard on my fitness again, and my hunger to score runs is back. I am enjoying my cricket again and always look forward to contributing to the team when needed,” he said.
Meanwhile, his partnership of more than 100 runs with Suryakumar Yadav played a key role in India’s victory. The right-handed batter hit 69 off 36 balls, laced with 5 fours and as many sixes.
