Four fans of the former India captain Virat Kohli have been arrested for breaching security cover to click selfies with the star player during the second Test in Bengaluru, the police said on Monday.

The top officials have registered an FIR against them in the Cubbon Park police station limits. As a result, they will be produced before the court.

They have been booked trespassing and violating security protocols. The fans ran towards the player to click selfies at around 10.15 pm on Sunday.

Though Virat obliged his followers, their act has landed them in trouble.

The incident happened at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium during the second day of the game. Two of the accused are said to be minors. Meanwhile, Virat scored 23 and 13 in the ongoing game.
