The Men in Blue had their first training session on Wednesday, and Kohli worked hard in the nets.

Virat Kohli scored just 1 run in the second T20I against England. He has been out of form for years and the cricket experts are now questioning his place in the team.

Former India player Ajay Jadeja said that he wouldn’t select Virat Kohli in his T20 line-up, saying India will have to make a call on whether the 33-year-old is fit to play aggressive T20I cricket.

India opened with Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma but Kohli failed at No. 3. “India are playing more aggressively, which is the way to go about in T20 cricket,” he said.

India left out Deepak Hooda, who recently scored a century in Ireland.

“Virat is a special player but he failed in last few seasons. The team will have to make a choice. For me, he won’t feature in my team. I will pick a player, who has done well in the recent times.”

Virat has been going through a slump in form across all formats of the game. The former captain accumulated 31 runs across two innings in the Birmingham Test and failed to get going in the recent T20 match against the Jos Buttler-led team.
