Virat Kohli has once again made the BCCI officials angry.

India won the first ODI against England by 10 wickets at the Oval. Jasprit Bumrah (6 wickets) and Mohammed Shami (3 wickets) were the star performers with England scoring 110 runs. This was England’s lowest ever total against India in an ODI in history.

The Men in Blue completed the chase without losing a wicket. While Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten 76 in just 58 balls, Dhawan played a knock of 31 not-out.a

While the visitors were brilliant in all the departments of the game, a fan war between Barmy Army and Bharat Army won the internet.

After the playing XIs were announced, Barmy Army claimed that Virat Kohli was dropped from the opening match.

However, Bharat Army hit back in style. “Roy + Root + Stokes = Kohli’s total in the game today, lads,” wrote the Indian fan group.

Jason Roy, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, and Liam Livingstone were all dismissed without troubling the scorers.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma revealed Virat had missed out due to a niggle and the medical team was monitoring his injury concern.
