Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma has revealed that the right-handed batter used to get angry when he became a skipper. Sharma explained to Kohli that he cannot expect the same level of performance from every player of the team. The 33-year old is no more a captain in any format of the game after he stepped down from Test captaincy.

“He usted to get very angry when he became captain. I explained him that everyone is not talented like him and nobody wants to perform poorly for that matter. He accepted the fact and curbed his anger. Kohli started encouraging the youngsters and played a major role in the success of the team,” he said.

Rajkumar further added that Virat has no ego and has supported both KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma.
