The ongoing ICC T20 World Cup has impacted the rankings of the leading players. Virat Kohli, who was below-par in the tournament, slipped four spots in the latest ICC men’s T20I rankings.

He is in the 8th spot in the batting rankings. The 33-year old accumulated just 68 runs from three innings.

Meanwhile, India’s new T20I captain and vice-captain pair Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul have gained in the rankings. Rahul, who scored 194 runs in the World Cup, has entered the list of the top five batters. His opening partner Rohit has gained two spots and he is in 15th place. The right-handed batter scored 174 runs.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam and Dawid Malan continued have retained their top-tow spots. Aaron Finch and Mohammad Rizwan have reached the fourth and sixth positions respectively.
