Virat Kohli blasted RCB teammate Karn Sharma for conceding a six in his first over against Gujarat Titans. During the first strategic time-out break, Virat got angry and was seen scolding the spinner. Karn had no choice but to listen to veteran but he felt insulted as the episode unfolded in front of all the players.

Karn has played just four games in the 17th season. He was dropped from the Playing XI after the contest against Chennai Super Kings. After failures of the part-time tweakers, Sharma was recalled for the game against Kolkata Knight Riders. He retained his place against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans.

Despite Kohli’s magnificent run with the bat, the Bengaluru-based franchise has won just two matches and lost 7 encounters. The right-handed batter has hit one hundred and three fifties, with his run tally going past 400 mark.

RCB are almost out of the playoff race in the ongoing season. Former India player Harbhajan Singh has demanded the return of Virat as captain of the franchise. He feels Kohli can change the fortunes of the struggling unit.
