India landed in Thiruvananthapuram for the second and last warm-up game against the Netherlands. However, Virat Kohli was not present with the squad as he left for Mumbai due to personal emergency.
He requested the team management for a leave and left to Mumbai from Guwahati. Kohli is expected to return on Monday.
According to Cricbuzz, a source from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the development.
The first warm-up game between India and England was called off due to rain in Guwahati.. India start their ICC World Cup 2023 campaign against Australia in Chennai on October 8.
