Virat Kohli once again issued a statement for Cristiano Ronaldo on social media. Kohli is a big fan of the footballer and follows him for his fitness ethics and lifestyle.
After Portugal were eliminated from the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Kohli paid tribute to the legendary player. Ronaldo joined Al Nassr after leaving Manchester United. He represented the Riyadh All-Star XI against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in a friendly match on Thursday.
The iconic player scored two goals and was named the Player of the Match. Virat Kohli took to his Instagram handle and replied to Ronaldo’s critics.
“Still doing it at the highest level at 38. The football experts sitting and criticizing him every week for attention and to be in the news are conveniently quiet now that he has put in this kind of performance against one of the top clubs in Europe. And he was apparently finished,” he wrote.
Indian fans wrote hilarious comments, and one reminded Virat that it was a friendly match and the Portugal star had not followed him back after all the praises.

Meanwhile, Ravi Shastri has urged Virat to skip the final ODI against New Zealand and play a Ranji Trophy match to prepare for the upcoming four-match Test series against Australia.
