Team India skipper Virat Kohli has come out in support of struggling Ajinkya Rahane.

Former England cricketer Nick Compton has come down hard on India skipper Virat Kohli. According to him, Virat is the most foul-mouthed individual. He also praised  England Test captain Joe Root, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

“Isn’t Kohli the most foul-mouthed individual? I’ll Never forget the barrage of abuse I received in 2012 when the swearing stunned me to the point that he did himself a serious disservice. It highlights what a level headed and grounded man Root, Tendulkar, Williamson et al are”, Compton tweeted.

He was slammed by cricket fans and the former player deleted the tweet.

Joe Root admitted that sledging the Indian cricketers was a tactical blunder by his team.

“Virat’s got his style and his way of doing things that’s probably contrasting naturally to the way I play my cricket. Fair play to Virat and his team, they’ve jumped on something emotional that’s given them an edge and something to cling on to tactically.

“India as a side grabbed onto something and used that to their advantage on this occasion. As far as I’m concerned, I don’t think there is any nastiness or hatred there between anyone out there on the field,” the England skipper said.
