In one kind of incident, Virat Kohli was involved in the arrest of murderers who were on the run. The star batter was indirectly involved in the arrest of the culprits, who killed an 82-year-old woman in Bengaluru.

King Kohli, written on an autorickshaw, helped police to track down the killers of Kamala N Rao, whose body was found in the Mahalakshmipuram region of the city.

Siddaraju C M, R Ashok, and C Anjanamurthy planned to kill the woman to pay back their debts.

“Ashok learned that Kamala’was was living alone when he went to her house for some plumbing work. He informed about it to other accused at a bar. Siddaraju agreed to take away her gold,” a police source told The Indian Express.

“We took the visuals near Kamala’s residence and noticed an autorickshaw moving here and there on several occasions. The vehicle had King Kohli written on it,” an official said.

“After scanning the nearby CCTV cameras, we saw Anjanamurthy removing the vehicle’s number plate. Soon, we found the autorickshaw’s registration number, and the accused were arrested. The words ‘King Kohli’ helped us zero in on the vehicle,” the officer added.
