Former India captain Virat Kohli is eyeing a massive record in the Asia Cup 2022.

Virat Kohli finally displayed the form expected from him in the second match of the Asia Cup 2022 against Hong Kong.

The right-handed batter scored a fifty with the help of good strokes. It was his first fifty after 18 February, which came against the West Indies in Kolkata.

The former India captain has amassed 31 fifties in his T20I career. He took 40 balls and hit 2 sixes and a four.

The 33-year-old was impactful and played the pacers and spinners with ease. He stitched an important partnership with KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul failed to contribute to the team. While Rohit managed 21, KL amassed 36 off 39 balls.

Hong Kong won the toss and invited the Men in Blue to bat first.
