Virender Sehwag has left India's former captain Virat Kohli out of his top three batters for the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.

Virat Kohli scored a well compiled fifty in the second T20I between India and West Indies at the Eden Gardens. The former India skipper amassed 52 off 41 balls with the help of 1 six and 7 fours. The 33-year old was dismissed by Roston Chase.

He looked comfortable at the crease and played some glorious strokes. Virat surpassed Rohit Sharma and Babar Azam in terms of most 50+ scores against the West Indies. While Kohli has 6 such scores, Rohit and Babar have five each.

Virat Kohli also equalled Sharma’s tally of most 50+ scores in the shortest format of the game.
