Virat Kohli is dealing in hundreds in white-ball cricket. He started the New Year with a century in the first ODI against Sri Lanka. The right-handed batter completed his 45th ODI ton off 80 balls in Assam.
Overall, it was his 73rd hundred in international cricket. Only Sachin Tendulkar, who scored 100 centuries, is ahead of the 34-year-old.
Virat has opened a big gap in the list of most ODI centuries where a team has scored 300 plus. Kohli has 21 centuries, while Rohit, with 15 three-digit scores, is the only active player on the list.
Sachin Tendulkar (19), AB de Villiers (16), Hashim Amla (15) and Ricky Ponting (15) have registered their names.
