India are all set to take on Australia in a three-match ODI series, starting October 19. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, who will play their first international match in eight months, are hogging the limelight Down Under. There are reports of the two announcing their retirements after the conclusion of the games against Mitchell Marsh’s team.
Former player Madan Lal wants Rafael Nadal-like celebrations for the two legendary cricketers. He called them generational talents and also highlighted their contributions.
“Virat and Rohit can still play for years. They deserve a farewell that brings tears to the eyes, something we saw when Rafael Nadal bid adieu to Tennis,” he said.
