Wasim Jaffer feels India are going to miss R Ashwin on the final day of the second Test versus England at Lord’s. The pitch has started to offer a good amount of turn, which was visible after watching Moeen Ali’s bowling.

India are currently 154 runs ahead with just 4 wickets remaining. If India manage to take the lead past 200, Jadeja would come into play but Jaffer feels the main character will be missed.

Jaffer shared an image of the pitch and tweeted, “Let me tell you a kutti story. The main character is missing. #ENGvIND”

Meanwhile, R Ashwin was last seen in action during the WTC finale versus New Zealand. Despite his good performance against the Kiwis, he has been kept out of the Playing XI since the last two Test matches.

All eyes will be on Rishabh Pant, who was there at the crease at the end of the fourth day’s play. He will have to bat smartly, without keeping his attacking batting away, as India failed to gain an advantage on Day 4.
