Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma believes the right-handed batter will deliver with the bat in the upcoming three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.
Sharma believes that the former India captain will again start scoring runs heading into the 2023 ODI World Cup at home. Virat scored his last ODI century after three years against Bangladesh.
He hit 113 runs off 91 deliveries, including two sixes and 11 boundaries.
“His conversion rate was not good last year. Whenever he crossed 25, everyone excepted him to score big. A bad patch can come into any player’s life. We will get to see vintage Virat Kohli in 2023,” he said.
Sharma further said that Kohli has won the most matches for the Men in Blue.
“He has won the most matches for India. There comes a time when you are not able to fulfill the expectations. But he will make his mark ahead of the global tournament,” he added.
