Virat Kohli is regarded as one of the finest batsmen in modern-day cricket. The India skipper has carved a niche for himself with his impressive leadership skills and impeccable batting across all three formats.

However, his aggressive approach on the field has invited different opinions for him on many occasions. While his fans and teammates have always praised him for his enthusiasm and sportsmanship in the game, others have gone as far as calling him a brat.

Talking about Virat’s attitude, former national selector, Sarandeep Singh revealed that the 32-year-old batsman is a “good listener” and takes everyone’s suggestions before making a decision in the selection meeting.

“Whenever Virat comes, team meetings used to go on for 1, 1.5 hours. Virat is a good listener. I don’t know what people think about him. If you see him in the matches, he’s always charged up while batting and fielding. So it seems like he’s always hot and arrogant, and doesn’t listen to anyone. But no, he is so polite. He always used to listen to everyone and then finally come to any decision,” Sarandeep told Sportskeeda.

Heaping praise on Virat Kohli for his humble personality, the 41-year-old also called him a down-to-earth and strong-willed person.

“At his home, there are no servants. He and his wife will serve food to everyone. What else do you want? He’s very down-to-earth and strong-willed,” Sarandeep added.
