Both the players often engage themselves in verbal banters and never miss out on any opportunity to take a dig at the other.

Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer have a habit of taking each other on Twitter. Time and again, these two have made interesting comments on social media. The former India cricketers recently became the new Odisha head coach. Vaughan didn’t hold back and left a hilarious comment on Twitter.

“Does he need an assistant?” he wrote.

Jaffer’s appointment was confirmed on Wednesday. “He (Jaffer) will be the head coach. He has been given a two-year contract,” Subrata Behera, Odisha Cricket Association CEO told PTI. Earlier, Jaffer was with Uttarakhand but he left the job after his differences with the state association.

Jaffer represented India in 31 Tests and 2 ODIs and is currently the batting coach of Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League.”Besides the development of cricket across all age groups, he (Jaffer) will also be a part of the coaches development programme across the state,” OCA secretary Sanjay Behera said in a statement.
