Yash Dhull’s memorable run continued as the young Indian batter scored a well-compiled hundred on his Ranji Trophy debut against Tamil Nadu. The right-handed batter took 133 balls to reach his milestone. He was caught on the score of 97, but the bowler overstepped, giving a lifeline to Yash.

Playing for Delhi, he brought his state team out of tricky position in the ongoing match. Delhi had lost two wickets with just 7 runs on the board, but the 19-year old showcased his talent in the premier red-ball competition.

Earlier, he led India to the fifth U-19 World Cup title in West Indies. The Boys in Blue defeated England in the finale of the tournament. He had scored a ton in the semi-final of the global event against Australia.

Meanwhile, opening the batting for Delhi, Dhull played an attacking knock, hitting pacers and spinners with ease. His knock was laced with 16 fours.
