Yash Dhull, who led India to the U-19 World Cup title in West Indies, was bought by Delhi Capitals for 50 lakh. The bidding war started between Delhi and Punjab Kings, and the former won the bid in the end.
Yash was lauded for his captaincy during the event, and he also scored an impressive hundred in the semi-final against Australia. The Boys in Blue defeated England in the final to lift the fifth global title in this category. Yash has been selected in Delhi’s state side for the Ranji Trophy 2022.
