Former Sri Lanka all-rounder Thisara Perera, who likes Lance Klusener and Virat Kohli’s style of play, recently named his all-time T20 XI. In his interview with News9, he picked the best players; however, he didn’t name anyone from Sri Lanka.
Chris Gayle and Rohit Sharma, the two best batters in the shortest format of the game, were included as openers. Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and David Millers were kept in the middle while MS Dhoni was named the captain and wicket-keeper of the side.
Rashid Khan and Sunil Narine made it to the team as the spinners. Meanwhile, the fast bowlers’ list was completed by Jasprit Bumrah, Mitchell Starc and Shaun Tait.
