He thinks Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav are like the two Aussie greats

Shane Warne is not among us but he is still remembered by current and former players. Yuzvendra Chahal recently spoke about the legendary bowler, calling him the reason behind his success. Kuldeep Yadav often talks about Warne. And now Navjot Singh Sidhu has compared an Indian wicket-keeper and spinner’s pair to Shane Warne and Adam Gilchrist.

Sidhu commented during the Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad’s game in Delhi. He thinks Rishabh Pant and Kuldeep Yadav are like the two Aussie greats. Gilchrist kept the wickets on Shane’s bowling and, took stunning catches, and impacted several stumping.

It was not easy to keep on Warner’s bowling as he was a real turner of a cricket ball, and his variations were not easy to pick. Adam mastered the art of reading Shane’s deliveries, and the two contributed to Australia’s dominance in world cricket.

“Kuldeep and Rishabh are like Shane Warne and Adam Gilchrist. Pant keeps motivating Yadav to go for wickets. Also, his performance has improved since he started playing under Rishabh’s captaincy. Pant has his own style of keeping wickets but he makes sure to get the best of his trump card. They have been magnificent for Delhi in a season that has gone from bad to worst for the franchise,” Navjot Singh Sidhu said on Star Sports.

Kuldeep Yadav took four wickets against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Had he not dismissed the batters, the score would have crossed the 300-run mark. Despite his good bowling, SRH posted 266/7 in 20 overs and won the contest by 67 runs.

Delhi were bowled out for 199 runs, with T Natarajan taking 4 scalps.
