Former India head coach and one of the closest people to Virat Kohli, Ravi Shastri, was a satisfied man after the 33-year-old ended his century drought.

Ravi Shastri, the former India head coach, has joined his new job. The veteran is the Commissioner of the Legends League Cricket which is currently underway in Oman.

The veteran was joined by one of his close friends and former Pakistan skipper Wasim Akram.

Shastri welcomed Wazz in style. He took to Twitter and wrote – “Great to catch with Wazzy boy. Shaz and Waz in the building. The show begins,” he wrote.

Wasim was quick to respond. “Great seeing you shazi boy.”

It a professional league for retired cricketers from India, other sub-continent nations and players from outside Asia. Indian Maharajas led by Mohammed Kaif are playing against Misbah-ul-Haq’s Asian Lions at the moment.

World Giants are the third team in the tournament. Former West Indies great Daren Sammy is the skipper of the team.
