Former South Africa spinner Imran Tahir feels the visitors' defeat in the Test and ODI series is due to their overconfidence.

Temba Bavuma and Rassie van der Dussen bailed South Africa out from a tricky position in the first ODI against South Africa.

The hosts had lost three wickets with just 68 runs on the board, but the two stitched a 204 runs partnership for the fourth wicket.

This is the highest 4th Wicket partnership against the Men in Blue.

While Temba Bavuma was dismissed after scoring 110 runs, Rassie van der Dussen accumulated 109 runs. Earlier, South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. Marco Jansen and Venkatesh Iyer are the two debutants in the ongoing game.
