Harbhajan Singh believes KL Rahul is the best finisher of the Men in Blue at the moment. Rahul, who played as an opener in the ODI series against South Africa, was demoted to the No.4 slot in the second ODI against the West Indies. Rishabh Pant opened the innings for the hosts.
While reviewing India’s victory against the Kieron Pollard-led team on Star Sports, Harbhajan lauded the right-handed batter.
“He [Rahul] is a complete player and India do not have a bigger player than him at No. 5 or No. 6 at the moment. I feel he should bat at the same position,” he said.
The former India cricketer highlighted that Rahul is the cleanest striker of the ball. “It is good for India if he bats in the middle order. If he bats in the last ten overs, there won’t be a better striker than him.”
