Cricket is like a religion in India. Also, there’s no dearth of cricketing talent in the country. Over the years, the country has produced some of the most talented players who have gone on to become icons of the sport.
Videos of young talented kids often surface on social media. One such video is currently going viral on the internet, leaving fans in awe of the kid’s talent. In the video, the kid can be seen batting flawlessly with a single stump, while practising indoors.

As per a Linkedin post by Raju Devendran, a cricket fan, who managed to trace down the kid and his parents. The kid in the video is 9-year-old Vighnaj Prejith, who hails from Thrissur, Kerala.
Vighnaj became a cricket fan after watching the 2019 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Since then, he has been waking up early morning every day to practice for three hours daily.
As per his father, the kid is also a leg-spinner apart from being a talented batsman. His father is currently looking for a mentor or a coach for the prodigious talent to help him learn the tricks of the trade of the sport.
