After years of grit and grind in the Domestic circuit, as well as the Indian Premier League (IPL), veteran batsman Suryakumar Yadav was finally rewarded for his hard work as he received a maiden national call-up for the T20I series against England.
He is expected to make his international debut in the upcoming five-match series against Joe Root-led side. Ahead of the first T20I, which is scheduled to begin on Friday, March 12, he took to Twitter to post a picture of him in Team India’s retro jersey.
Fans were delighted to see SuryaKumar Yadav, fondly called SKY in the cricketing folklore, in the Indian jersey.
