Chennai Super Kings have performed exceptionally well in the Indian Premier League.  MS Dhoni, the skipper of the franchise, has led them from the front. Yet, he found no place in Suryakumar Yadav’s all-time IPL XI.

In conversation with Harsha Bhogle at Cricbuzz, SKY was asked to pick his all-time IPL XI but with two conditions. While he had to pick himself in the team, the maximum of four players could be selected from the Mumbai Indians.

Rohit Sharma and Jos Buttler were kept at the top of the batting order.  Virat Kohli came at the number 3 spot, while Yadav picked himself at the number 4 position. AB de Villiers was able to make the cut as he is one of the best finishers in the game.

Mumbai Indians’ Hardik Pandya, Kolkata Knight Riders’ Andre Russell and Chennai Super Kings’ Ravindra Jadeja were given all-rounders slots.

Rashid Khan, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami completed the bowling line-up.
